:: Prologue (D.B.Z. Year 999) :: (Writer – LE Vaughn)
After Goku had taken Uub to train in a far off land – many of the universally proclaimed *Z-Warriors* had taken to many other various activities. Some took back to training in the martial arts (Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, Choutzu, Vegeta, Trunks) where as some simply returned to a more calm life of relaxation while attempting to build a family (Gohan, Videl, Goten, and Piccolo as Pan’s Guardian). Much of the Universe itself had been quiet as well – most people returning to a normal life style just as the *Z-Warriors* had. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, blood, sweat and tears – the Universe had finally become a peaceful place; for the moment at the very least. As stated by many people, creatures and things over the years – Good cannot exist without the presence of Evil; such as the balance of life and death. This statement had been said over and over through out time; and with time it never failed to be true in some sense. However; for the planet Earth and for the Universe as a whole, this statement would bring forth an Evil so profound that it would shake the very fabric of existence itself.

The destruction of peace began with the weak; many of the cities on Earth fell to a plague that had been an advanced mutation of small-pox; this wiped out eighty percent of the worlds population; causing the leaders of each country and continent to force an evacuation of the planet. Dende; using his power of foresight and the ability to observe any point on Earth at any given time, had spent days above the planet on the look-out attempting to find the source of this death. While he searched, he instructed Popo to call any of the surviving *Z-Warriors* to the look-out; if they weren’t there already. In a few hours, many of them arrived to hear what Dende had found out – if anything. To their dismay however, some of their friends failed to show up.

Piccolo and Gohans family did not arrive, neither did Goten for that matter. The thought of their deaths weighed heavily on Chi chi and Goku – especially that of Pan; their young grandchild. Tien and Choutzu did not show up either; along with Krillin and Yamcha. Dende attempted to shift his focus to finding the missing members of the group – but there had been no life force or energy signature for him to lock on – thus leading to one conclusion; they had been killed. The method of their death had been a guess – an assumption that the plague had killed them in their sleep. Goku knew better however; he knew Piccolo would have sensed something if no one else did – and would have done something about it. This only disturbed Goku more – knowing that there had been more to it than just a plague; the question was – who was behind its release? Why would someone want to destroy all of the people on Earth; what would they gain from total genocide? He would soon have an answer – in the form of even further bad news.

Goku attempted to contact the new Namekian Elder – along with Supreme Kaio (Shin); and when neither could be reached, he even tried King Kai. No one; no one from either the Living or Afterlife Realm could be contacted via telepathic means, he couldn’t even find their energy signature to teleport to. Something very strange, very evil, was happening – and it must have been a wide spread event. As he pondered this, a rumble disturbed his train of thought. The tower below – where Korin lived – exploded in a towering pillar of flame and darkness.

“What the hell was that?” Vegeta asked – almost in an un-phased manner as Korin Tower vanished from sight.
“I don’t know! We shoul-“ Dende had been speaking but his attention turned to Goku; who by now transformed into a Super Saiyan – rushing off the platform. “No! Come back! This could be a trap!”

By now, Goku was out of earshot; and out of sight as he vanished. Minutes passed, all that could be heard was the crackling fire that engulfed the tower. Chi Chi cried silently, knowing something bad had happened to Goku – though no one else could tell. The darkness began to creep upward; almost being sucked up to the tower by the air currents ripping around them.

“We have to get out of here!” Trunks exclaimed – grabbing his mother and preparing to leave.
”And do what boy? Hide in space until this fucking thing gets us too? I’d rather die like a man!” Vegeta leapt off the tower, in an attempt to not only show up Trunks, but save his family; though he’d never admit to that.

He pierced the darkness with his golden aura – screaming loudly as he fired off energy pellets left and right; lighting up the area around them. The dark flow absorbed him instantly – causing him to vanish from sight and from the senses. Bulma now began to cry as well; seeing that everyone she called a loved one except for Trunks are just *gone*. It was unknown what killed Trunks, Bulma, Chi Chi, Uub, Dende and Popo – the last known glimpse of them had been in space, passing what used to be Namek and what used to be Arconia. Not even the Kaio – those who survived anyway – knew what happened to the universe. Everyone from every race had been systematically destroyed by a disease; a plague of epic proportions, created by an unknown person – maybe natural evolution.

The Kaio however died due to an on-flow of evil and lost souls who over powered their rule due to the mass-genocides. Evil souls absorbed the lost; and in turn were food for the body-less evil tyrants. In the end, the Kaio who survived were forced to perform an ancient ritual on the Grand Kaioshin’s home planet. While a few ogres held off a massive Demonic army – the Kaio sacrificed their lives to give the Universe a second chance; though there too few of them with the knowledge of Vegeta’s past and physical state – and no one knew of the Changling Planet – and not to mention, they hadn’t had an unlimited supply of power to draw from – thus meaning a few planets, species and things would be left out of the new grand scheme of things. The Saiyans, Changlings, Tuffle, and various other alien species of plants, people and animals would be left out of the new generation – the new Universe; for now.

With their dieing breaths, the Universe (both Physical and Spiritual) converged and erupted in a pure divine light – which cleansed the evil, and destroyed all things living and dead. From this point – the Second Big Bang occurred; it was much smaller however, only creating a few planets which people, nature, and animals could inhabit. This wasn’t exactly a bad thing however – as it may lead to many peoples salvation from the over-aggressive tyrannical races. The Universe had a clean slate – for the most part. As people progressed however, there would always be problems that must be dealt with…..

:: Prologue (A.G. – Year 16) ::
Sixteen long years passed since the rebirth of the Universe; and finally the people of various planets began to come together in a sense of harmony – each uniting under ether a form of government designed by the people, or a singular leadership based on the wisest or strongest of their own kind. It began with Earth; the race known as Humans formed two governments on two different continents. The first established union had been by a man named Nureo Zelkov; he created a Democracy; and unlike many who consider democracy corrupt – this form of government had upheld the freedoms it gave to the people; allowing them to choose a leader, what laws existed, and what justice many criminals had to succumb to. Even though it was fair and clean, someone had to rise up and form another union based entirely on Anarchy and the destruction of all that stood for the side of purity and righteousness. Bandits from each corner of the Earth came together in the Eastern Continent known as the Desert Hell (as the locals called it) – all under a single man named Ordali Kiroke. This would be the very first two established and organized governments in the history of the new Universe.

:: Prologue (A.G. – Year 22) ::
Six years after the unions of Earth; another planet began to unite itself under its own leader and laws, Namek. The Namekian people; unlike the Earthlings, had been mostly a peaceful race of people – leading them to have very few laws; other than it would be forbidden to commit any sinful or hateful acts to one another or to the planet itself. They lived happily under the rule of a single leader that would be their most wise and logical *Elder*. The first Elder had been an aging Namekian who had his cells altered by a toxic plant – thus causing him to turn a very dark green and to age quicker than most of his people, his name was Haseo. He came from the south; swam across the oceans with nothing but his cape and a sword made from a magical tree that he planted in his youth. With his knowledge and experience as a sword fighter he would hope to educate the people of the north – and bring together the clans from every part of the world. The fruits of his labor would be a wondrous planet filled with lush green and blue gardens of small to tall trees; and the successful bond between the people and planet. Namek was fortunate however – they had no *bad seeds* amongst their people; thus meaning no evil could come from within the people. However it was not ruled out that some form of outside threat could affect their way of life; be it life from (as they called the sky) beyond the *Great Ocean of Clouds* or something deep within their planet.

:: Prologue (A.G. – Year 25) ::
As the planets Earth and Namek began to form a social order, one planet had been thrust into disarray ever so early. Arconia; home to many people of various shapes, sizes and colors – had been in a chaotic stand still in terms of leadership and government. Most wanted nothing to do with the population on the planet, where as those who did want to lead and aid in restoring order only were cast out as fools. By no means were these people flooded with darkness or evil however; this was just a lonely time for those to go in separate ways. Being that Arconia had a fairly large system or chain of islands – there were many places for the various clans, guilds and corporations of people to gather and start life. In time, some even planned on leaving their home using new and up coming technology (that vastly out weighed the technology of the other planets) that would thrust them into the stars above. Even as they planned however – some formed groups that were hell-bent on causing mass chaos and eventually the death of many of their own kind. One race in particular that shared the planet with the others had been known as the Hyloso; with their leader being the young and ambitious Raserei Suru they began to formulate a plan on the destruction of Arconia all together. They had to build their strength however; even though they were physically around eight feet tall, and over three hundred pounds of muscle and speed, their skin was easily penetrated by projectiles and they had no ability to adapt to biological warfare. This left them to develop a sense of *Stealth Based Combat* (or as the Universe now calls it, S.B.C.) – making them use clothing as camouflage in order to hide themselves from sight. Using their new techniques and training they would in time attempt to steal many scientists and engineers in hopes of developing counter measures to protect them and further benefit their goals. With many of the other races in a constant state of disarray – even the most basic *Snatch and Grab* would go through without a hitch…..

:: Prologue (A.G. Year 29) ::
It took only four years for the S.B.C. unit under Raserei Suru to capture and torture multiple scientists and engineers from various clans and corporations around the planet Arconia. Soon after their torture came to a close – they each agreed to work on a very large and powerful space ship made of thick steel – without any glass windows. The vessel had many various computer systems on it that handled everything from environmental control (which helped them breathe and exist more comfortably in space) to when you flush – how the waste spun out of the *shitter tubes* (as some called it). The most advanced piece of machinery on board had been a fairly large Magnetic Rail Cannon that fired all sorts of metallic shells at near light speed. Sure it was brand new technology, but it was technology that no other race would have for many years due to how sophisticated it was and how many advanced materials were needed for the production and fuel. What the Hyloso people would do with the ship so far is unknown to many, but what was clear is that the space race had begun – with one of the most dangerous races already getting a damn good head start. The leader of the Hyloso people demanded that various satellite probes were launched from the ship to the nearest planet to Arconia; it was known only as the planet of Two Faces. The reason it was called as such is due to its lush jungles on one half, but extremely dangerous and vast desert on the other. Raserei believed that if there had been life found by the probes on either of these sections of the planet, that he would attempt to make contact and possibly get some recruits, or possibly some slaves…..

However as Raserei and his crew flew high into the vast ocean of darkness (Space) another race of people began their approach into the stars as well. Known to many as the Ce’rettie; this race was mostly a shorter (max height of around five feet tall for men, and four feet for women) and skinnier race with an inability to compete in any physical or spiritual combat with anyone or anything; thus making their extremely high intelligence a way to not only mount offensives but defensives in any situation. They were excellent in the art of *bullshitting* as many called it; thus leading them to gain many allies through trade or through technological intimidation. Though they were a fairly peaceful race – they didn’t care much for Arconia and its people; and as like few others, they were quick to abandon their home. Instead of heading directly to another planet – they decided; using their advanced intelligence – to create a massive station in the stars dedicated to the production of all things mechanical. Eventually it would house many different types of machines, experiments and other various research projects that the Ce’rettie would create. Many top scientists were gathered in an attempt to increase biological weapons production, while many engineers were brought aboard to help create an automated tool that would help them in times of danger and in times of peace. Their main project aside from the station would be this tool – a fully metal and steel tall and sturdy creation that would use hydraulics to move and function like most of the peoples muscles and joints. It would also be given a brain but since a soul could not be created, it wouldn’t necessarily have one – according to the researchers. So thus began the first A.I. research…..

:: Prologue (A.G. Year 31) ::
As the Physical Realm began to re-develop into a diverse plain of existence; another realm known as the After Life started to show signs of a struggle between the balances of Good and Evil. The side of Evil made the first move towards its stand as a dominant power; and this move was not by any means subtle. As the Kaio; who resided in Heaven, slept or focused on getting souls back and fourth to their proper destination (the judging of lost souls) the Demons; who resided in Hell, began to rally forces together under the singular leader known as The Lord of Darkness. His true name had been lost in the fires of Hell; but his goal and resolve had only been strengthened by the torment placed upon him by the magical binding of the Kaio. The purpose for this gathering of Demons was simple; to unify all evil, and spread their long arm until their new domain had been Heaven. One demon during the preparation before the war actually took place had asked his lord why the Kaio had bound him to this realm, and how he escaped the seal. With a sigh and a glare, the lord began his tale…..

””Twenty years ago when the Order of Light had been created, the Kaio began to enforce their laws onto the people of the After Life. Many accepted these new laws, however most were just afraid to defy them; I myself; chose to fight these so called leaders. It started with common arguing and debating over minor issues to do with our people (Demons) being allowed equal rights as the Kaio and the Mortal races that seemed to have slowly crept their ways in. The Kaio considered our people to be bottom feeders, rock dwellers, ignorant and disgusting abominations of flesh and energy who did not deserve the rights of the pure. I do not know if that was the opinion of all Kaio, but they sure did not stop their Order’s leader from banishing me to the Hells with a magical seal…..I only escaped after slaying thousands of the mindless zombie like creatures here (npcs). Their deaths gave me power, and with that power I began to slowly break the chains which bound me..In time, my power grew to what you see now, and those pathetic bindings cannot hold me here any longer. The Kaio will suffer for bastardizing our people – NOW MARCH FORWARD, TO THE JUDGING STATION WE SHALL GO!””

So they marched, one large Demonic army filled with those who fought on their own – and those who controlled the mindless flesh-beasts that roamed Hell. Most would have considered the Demons to be Evil and have nothing but malicious intents; however in this situation would their declaration of war really be wrong? They are fighting the Kaio; beings sworn to protect and guide others to the ways of peace, only for freedom and the right to exist without boundaries. Clearly one of them believed in the existence of balance, but what would the Kaio say and do about this rebellion? The past might end up dictating the actions of the future – if the Demons really begin to slaughter and murder the innocent, it would not matter if they had pure intentions at that point…..

Catching wind of the soon to come war, the Kaio began to formulate a plan – one that would require the aid of those considered half-breeds. The half-breeds or Demi-Gods as they were more commonly known as; would act as a large barricade to block off the Hell gate while the Kaio performed a ritual to ward off evil – for a time. A small number of these *Demi-Gods* marched to the gate of Hell, and forced their muscular bodies up and onto the solid black-steel door. Even when the Lord of Darkness began to force his power onto the opposite side – he could not break through. This bought the Order of Light enough time to set up and perform a barrier ritual to help repel (for now) the evil that attempted to break through the gate. No lives were lost during this event; however some toll had been taken. The Kaio involved in the ritual used every ounce of their powers – not killing themselves – but transmuting themselves into raw energy to bind the door to Hell shut. The Order of Light had been disbanded in a sense at this point – though it had just been created not so long ago. Now the next generation of Kaio had been given a chance to make up for the mistakes that their fellow Kaio made in terms of wrongful judgment. As for the Lord of Darkness, he and his army had been forced back into the seclusion of Hell – once more angered by the Kaio. This only fueled his ambitions and his rage, and as he grew stronger over time – the Kaio would have one massive fight on their hands later…..

:: Prologue – “Grunt and the Sky Runner Part 1” (A.G. Year 31) ::
During a wide scale campaign on Earth that would eventually aid in flushing out the bandit terrorists from the Central Continent named Eden; a young man came in contact with a strange metallic object that seemingly crash landed from the clouds above. He paused in his pursuit of three bandits so he could mark the location of the object for an excavation team – then proceeded to hunt down he targets he engaged earlier. As he ran he also pushed a small button on his communicator (attached to a camouflage jacket he wore), this allowed him a direct voice link with the leader of the massive operation – which happened to be Nureo Zelkov.

””Nureo – this is Private Jestal Enerost, my squad has fallen behind and is under heavy fire while waiting for a medic around coordinates one fifty, two hundred and seventy. I placed a beacon on an unknown object – seems to be some sort of metallic ball, maybe a transport of some kind but it doesn’t have any doors or anything on it. I’m currently headed east through C.C.’s (Central Continent) capital in pur-“"

His communication link went dead – and so did any electrical devices around him. No lights, no televisions, no computer terminals, nothing had any sort of power; not even the sound of back up generators had been heard. It was as if someone or something had just cut all of the power to this very city – just to set him up possibly…..Suddenly – out of the window of a two story building came a screaming bandit wielding a nine inch blade with serrated edges. He tackled Jestal to the ground – his knife inches away from plunging into Jestal’s chest. With enough strength and leverage however, Jestal found a way to flip the bandit over his head – allowing him to stand up and shoot the man with his .45 Automatic. Two more came out of the main floor after the shots were fired, but they were farther away than he was – giving Jestal more time to pull out his M14 Rifle and put two rounds through their heads. The bandits brain matter oozed down the brick and wooden wall as he searched the area in hopes of finding either survivors from the most recent attack on the city – or more bandits to rid from existence. He turned on his flashlight, after kicking it and punching it a few times; and secured the area for a larger squadron of soldiers to head in. Jestal left a chalk marking to show how the situation was in the area – dropped a signal flare showing his location, then went back west toward the metal object hoping to link up with the pick up team.

Once he arrived they spoke to him about not touching the object – as it was radioactive to an extent, but not so much as to hurt him if he didn’t have on a *hazmat suit*. They transported it back to their head quarters along with Jestal for questioning about the current situation and about what he saw around the object – if anything. After answering many long and boring-ass questions, he was free to head to the barracks to get some rest after his mission had been completed. This gave him time to sleep – and time to dream…..

:: Prologue – “Grunt and the Sky Runner Part 2” (A.G. Year 34) ::
Three years and with much blood, sweat, and tears; the research on the strange metal object found by Jestal had been finally completed and ready to be revealed to the public. It was noted that this object had been a relay device that could signal a computer from light-years away, and that it came from a planet with extremely high technological abilities. Using this *probe* as they dubbed it (DUR) they were able to design various crafts using their own resources and fuel supplies – allowing the people, soldiers, and government – access to the stars above. Sure they had very primitive space shuttles and satellites, but this was a massive step forward for the Earthlings development. They were still unable to figure out just *who* built the probe, and how it got to Earth – but it was irrelevant to most if not all the people. The only thing that mattered to them is that space exploration, and advanced technology that could generally just aid the development of the every day average person – is now on the horizon.

One person however had an extreme doubt about this technology being fully useful – and it was due to his ability to sense trouble. Jestal ; now promoted to a Lieutenant and sent on Recon Missions, had doubted that it would stay in the hands of those fighting for the good in the world. He even had contacts higher up in the government which led him to believe that one of the many bandit spies had access to this as well – and that would mean chaos and possibly death for millions if it were true. So he set out on a very personal mission; one that would define what it is to be a man, and what it means to be the enemy of all that defies the light…..

With a dark tan cloak draped around his body, a mask with a holographic interface that was just released for prototype testing, along with his M14 and two small steel combat knives; Jestal walked over the bridge to the eastern continent into the vast desert that lied before him. He was tired of the suffering, the pain, and the fear that the bandits have caused – and he would make damn sure to kill those in power if not every last son murdering, daughter molesting piece of shit in his path……

””You look a little lost mother fucker…..Why don’t you run on back to your home in the east before we carve you up and send you back in pieces.””

A group of foul mouthed bandit scouts stopped Jestal in his path – holding out various large blunt and sharp weapons alike – all looking rather rigged together. Some wielded machetes where as others had spears or large maces. None seemed to be well equipped mind you – and they only wore stolen sunglasses as protection from the ever-lasting dust storm in this forsaken land. Jestal however wore a state of the art prototype mask which allowed him full vision in any terrain – and gave him a way to breathe for over fifty minutes underwater by recycling the air he already used. Using the storm as cover, he slipped into the desert without anyone seeing where he went. One by one the bandits began to vanish into the storm as well – but not on their own terms….

The sound of flesh tearing and bones crunching could barely be heard over the wind howling across the plains. When one bandit remained he hurried to his dirt bike and began to ride off south east toward the only oasis found in the desert. He knew he wouldn’t make it very far – but he had to try. A rock smashed the tire to his bike – causing him to flip out of it; forcing him to enter a desperate crawl in fear for his life. The wind died down, and the howling of the desert wolf could be heard far off in the distance – as a cold chill suddenly plagued the lone bandit. His attention shifted from crawling in the sand – to staring at a single area in front of him that seemed to *jump* or *pop* up as if something had hit it. Then he felt a warmth covering his face – no pain – just warmth; as if someone had poured room temperature water down the side of his face, and allowed it to drop down his chin…..

Blood covered the ground – the join on the left side of the bandits jaw; along with half of his lower left jaw, had been completely blown off by a rifle shot. Now crawling and begging for his life to an unknown assailant, the bandit rolled onto his back on the sand and his own body matter. Another quick *pft* was heard as the second shot went through his skull – piercing his brain and killing him instantly. Jestal was never heard from again after he headed that direction. Though some reports of a recon team sent to a bandit hide-out in the desert found clues to suggest Jestal had been still alive, just at an unknown location…..

Days passed since signs of Jestal have been found; and the recon team just kept pushing through the desert. They needed Jestal alive; he was exposed to certain information that was extremely valuable to some people, and he had abilities that were necessary to be harnessed by the government. As they continued through the desert they found many disturbing and disfigured bodies; blood soaked sand, bones piercing skin, muscle and flesh being torn away all with cutting marks and bullet wounds. Many bandit out-posts were lit on fire, and over a thousand bodies were accounted for. There was no sign of Jestal; no foot prints, no dropped clothing, no bullet trail – only a trail of bodies to follow. With their food and water dwindling, they were forced to return to base – bringing along the grim news of Jestal M.I.A. (missing in action) and possibly K.I.A. (killed in action) status….

:: Prologue – “Flight of the Earth-Bound” (A.G. Year 36) ::
With the war between the anarchists and bandits slowly dwindling down to a near halt (with the minor random murderer popping up here and there) the government and leader of Earth (Nureo Zelkov) had re-arranged his priorities; shifting from war and pushing out the enemy, to research and development of Space Technology. It went smoothly for the two years that it was fully dedicated to – allowing much progress to be made in such short time. Using primitive fossil fuels, the Human race finally had been able to create a small amount of large space ships that could house up to twenty people inside; along with a various number of different and unique equipment all to help those inside live in a relative comfort. They launched their first ship; manned with three top of the line military specialists (a three man marine squad), two martial artists who were proven to be able to mysteriously manipulate *energy* somehow, and ten scientists who would continue the research of the stars.

Their travel went well; using the technology they even made it passed the asteroid belt and out to see what had been hidden from their telescopic sights for years. It was noted that there were in fact many more planets with life sources on them – maybe some just had plant life, but it was life none-the-less. With such primitive technology however, they could not simply fly to the planets without losing their lives due to age in the process; so they were forced to return to Earth and to continue building a better ship which could allow them access further and further into the great sea of stars. Even with the Golden Age seeming to be at hand – not everyone had celebrated such a joyous occasion. With a blackened heart and a soul burning with rage and hate, Ordali Kiroke continued to plan his final operation in a secret location known only to his most trusted bandits and to one other man. This other man could no longer be considered Human after what Ordali had done to him. The *things* face was mutilated; the eyes completely carved out, jaw bones fractured, flesh torn from the body along with muscle – fully exposing the bones underneath. The only thing distinguishing about the creature was a small set of combat knives lodged in his brain – poking his nerves but leaving him barely alive. It couldn’t scream, could barely breath, and was hooked to many life supports so it could at least survive only to suffer more. Ordali however grew tired of the low groans and the stench of this rotting living corpse – so he did what would many call; the only humane thing he’s ever done for anyone or anything. With a flick of his finger and a crack of his wrist – a small thin line of what seemed to be Spiritual Energy shot out from his finger and into the creatures head; disabling the brain and killing it. Ordali left that area with the body a few hours later – throwing it into the sea where it was found by local fishermen. It was later determined that the body was in fact of Jestal Enerost. The body was found also with a note that suggested a final confrontation between those on the side of good, and those on the side of the anarchists would soon come to a close – with the victor deciding the fate of all on Earth…..

No recordings or books spoke of the tale, but there were rumors…..Two people without names; an old man with a turtle shell on his back, and a young woman with the tail of a wolf – confronted Ordali and fought him to the death. Some say that the two fighting Ordali killed him while fighting using some Unknown Power, then fled to seclusion so they didn’t cause any problems. Where as others suggest that Ordali killed them both, then wandered into the desert and died himself because of grave wounds placed upon him. Whatever the truth was – it was certain that those fighting for good had won, and it was clear that people had something deeper within their souls that could be released – in time…..

[Jumping forward to the next most significant event]

:: Prologue – “What Defines a Soul” (A.G. Year 120) ::
Almost ninety years passed without any significant conflict occurring between the Kaio and Demons – in this time the Kaio had been able to re-develop the youth into strong over-seeing leaders with good and clean morals. With time however, the barrier which held the evil Lord of Darkness at bay, slowly started to fade away with the days that have long passed. Hell it self and its massive army began to push hard with a steadily increasing strength that not even the previous Kaioshin (plural!) could handle. The gates erupted into a burst of fire – sending millions of lost souls to a plain that not even they could comprehend (the Final Realm). Within the fire and chaos – the lord’s army marched; killing many of the minor Kaio and Demi-Gods who stood as guardians or judges for any soul in the Check Point region.

””Suffer and beg me for your life, allow me the pleasure of stamping out the flame in your soul!””

The evil Lord of Darkness began his own personal assault on the Kaio – breaking through each small defense that his minions had already destroyed. He tore down the Gate to Heaven with incredible ease – showing that he not only had no fear, but the strength to combat anything that the Kaio threw at him. He wasn’t expecting any heavy resistance – sure the Kaio had a lot of souls and a massive population to toss at him; but what they had in numbers they lacked in strength and intelligence. No one that they could throw his way would be smart enough or skilled enough to handle him – not now, not with such resolve in his blackened heart, or so he thought. With fire and brimstone lining his path, he leapt through the final gate which led to the only city in Heaven. There, he felt a strange Divine Presence which seemed to weigh him down and somewhat snuff-out his dark flame…..

Time seemed to slow down for him as he moved forward; arms starting to sink to his sides, the armor he wore also starting to break away and disintegrate as a pure energy shot around him. He saw children standing in the background of a bright light; their hands in the form of a small prayer stance – a strange of energy flowing from them to a single person who wore nothing but a white cloak, white pants, white boots and a dark purple belt. Time flowed on however, his body starting to shut down as he came closer and closer to the being of light. By now his armor had completely vanished; he looked down at his body which started to turn more *Human* than Demon – as if the light had been purifying not only his soul but his physical being all at once. Now his eyes shifted up at the being – only feet away from him; he could see a short thin figure of a young woman who smiled, her eyes bright blue as she reached out and touched his face.

””Whatever happened in the past was between you and our elders. They have been punished for their abuse of power and position; and you already had endured your punishment for the darkness you felt in your heart. No longer you will suffer brother – be free from the evil which binds you; come back once more so I can finally meet you on better terms….””

She spoke as if they were family – and in his heart he knew this to be true. He felt purity enter his soul – and as the blackness had been lifted, the demons which invaded had been destroyed and banished. The energy radiated around him; his body beginning to levitate higher and higher into the clouds as the holy bolts of light destroyed everything that he had spawned; all the evil, all the hate, and all the destruction. Before his body and soul vanished; leaving to the mortal realm for a rebirth and a second chance, he said one last thing.

””I never met my real parents, but I’m sure you have…..Tell them I am sorry for how I turned out.””

With a scream that pierced every boundary of the After Life – the Lord of Darkness was now no more. Everything that was he – was now gone and purified in the light. Leaving the young woman; who was known to many as the Kaioshin to decide the fate of all those who died recently, and those who will regain life, power, and the fate of Hell. She wanted to increase relationships between the Demons – knowing that many Kaio might be related to them due to some inter-mingling in the past. She believed in balance, though she did not believe in crossing plains with the Demons. They would stay in Hell, and the Kaio in Heaven – sending only few chosen to the Check Point to over-look the mortal realm, or to guide the lost souls to their destinations. This was the beginning of a peaceful era for the After Life – but peace never lasts…..

:: Prologue – “First Encounters Part 1: Allies, Aggression,….” (A.G. Year 280 – Year 410) ::
Years went by and time continued to consume the lives of those who were mortal. Old struggles had defined the future of specific people, be it the definition of their wide scale advancement for peace, or their genocidal rampages for the soul sake of fun and pleasure. Everyone and everything had a role to play in the Universe – and soon they would all find out what it is; as the two most dominant space fairing people would discover each other – along with various other non space fairing races, and engage in their own personal desires with them. The Humans would make first contact – coming into range of the planet Namek; they decided to land and exchange goods with the people there for many years. Their second Elder (first one had been dead due to old age) had shook hands and exchanged customs with the Humans; telling them all about how they valued nature over technology – and how space flight was of little concern to them. Namek was their home; they were born there, raised there, and helped it grow as much as Namek grew them. The current leader(s) of Earth told of how some valued the planet as well back home – but others weren’t so loving. Years went by and they still shared stories with the people of Namek – and vise versa; explaining wars, advancements, achievements in science or in the physics of martial arts, and even the abilities of spiritual powers. A bond; one of friendship and of cooperation had been forged between two of the least appreciated races in the Universe…..

As they met and conversed – another group of Humans led by one of the very few Mayko people, came in contact with various different races (aliens) whom adapted to the art of war and destruction. They agreed to work together, considering the Humans had a vast wealth of technology and fighting skill to provide (though fragile physically), and the Mayko people had a passion for murder and hunting that very few could match. This group even found an ancient piece of technology left behind by a race long forgotten in time; this technology was a massive station built for the soul purpose of creating Artificial Beings known as Androids. It was long since abandoned – and covered in rust and burn marks from various electrical storms that it had passed through over the years. When it was re-activated; it began running just like when it was brand new. The ship even cleaned itself off and helped the Human / Alien races repair it and repurpose it. Eventually it was even fitted with multiple Rail Cannons so it could effectively become one of the most – if not THE most advanced war station ever created. This would be the very first bastion for all those in the Galaxy / Universe who wanted no laws, no rules, and just wanted to murder, kill, rape, cause destruction and anarchy. Many Humans, most of the Mayko, and many Alien races set courses for this place – making it their permanent home for many years to come.

The years went by and the self proclaimed Armageddon Station had been fully out-fitted and ready for war. It was the size of Pluto, sustained over one billion of various races, and had been piloted by the on-board A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) known as Sheila. She had quite the sense of humor – and took great pride in using her cannons to shoot down the new Allied Space Alliance(Made up of some Yardrat ships, Human ships, and VERY few Namekian ship) patrols which ventured deeper and deeper into space. This was an open act of war – but a war that would eventually change the fate of the Universe forever. The Armageddon Station may have had a thick hull, vastly superior barriers, and enough fire power to blow up a Jupiter sized planet – but it was only one ship. If it weren’t for the various rigged bandit ships and the billions of android units, the Armageddon Station would have just been a floating target.

Over time the Armageddon Station eventually did launch an assault on the planet of Two Faces. Many androids were sent down to round up various people, kill the men of the races and tribes, then return with the women and children to force them into labor, sexual rituals, or force them to be experimented on. The experimentations on the station were disgusting, but at the same time they were astounding; its soul purpose was to bond flesh with machine and make a fusion of the two – strengths of both and weaknesses of neither. For some it was impossible, but for the lawless and boundless this was easy and fun. When the populations of the planet had been scrapped clean, they left it alone – and moved onto their next destination; the darkest reaches of the Universe; so they could be left alone themselves as they prepared for genocide.

The Allied Space Alliance leaders all conversed with one another – explaining how they should each speak with the population of their planets and explain the situation to them. They new eventually these outbursts from the lawless would reach their homes and be knocking on their doors – many would die and suffer, but only if they didn’t act and do something soon. With the combined effort of each races scientists and engineers the Allied Space Alliance began research on harder materials to use for the hulls of ships – and for better shielding technology so they could withstand heat from even the strongest shots out there. War was on the horizon – but this war would be fought intelligently, with each side carefully maneuvering their own pieces before they attacked one another. This would take time and patience, who would strike first?

:: Prologue – “First Encounters Part 2: Shroud of Lies ” (A.G. Year 415) ::
With the After Life finally making significant progress after the invasion of Heaven and the Check Point Station which took place many years ago; those who lived in both Heaven and Hell attempted to co-exist to an extent. Seeing that the Mortal Realm had been in danger of *failing* once more – the Kaioshin and her loyal followers that watched over specific quadrants of the Universe pieced together a plan for intervention if it were to come to that. The Mortal Realm had be-fallen a more lack of Spiritual Power and an increasingly high availability of Technology; one out of a million of each race had significant power spiritually – giving them either the status of a hero, a monster, or a villain. There were too many to really focus on one particular person; so each of the Cardinal Kaio (North/South/East/West Kaio) took upon under studies who aided them in the observation of each race, planet, and people who held a key to the fate of the Universe in this era of enigmas.

As the Kaio made plans to help the people of the Mortal Realm – some of the Demons made plans to help as well, but not in the same sense. Sure the race of Demons had created a truce with those fighting for Light; but they still had plans to aid the evil in the Mortal Realm and eventually spread their influence back to the After Life – and eventually back to Heaven itself. Many of the mortals deaths were to be required if the Demonic Magi were to ever have the energy to summon the master of old. They could sense his spirit; but not locate it or see it – and they knew that their master even if he is hidden well and even if had been blessed by the Kaio – his power and darkness still lingered within him. Using the deaths of billions, they would conjure up enough power to send one spell to the Mortal Realm; so they could unleash the hate brewing deep in the mans heart.

In the Check Point however – neither the Kaio nor Demon races ever got into a conflict with one another. There were of course some minor problems or minor juvenile Demons who would poke fun at the dead souls or Kaio children – but they were no trouble or danger to them. It was a façade of peace; one that would last until the Mortal Realm decided either to fight to the bitter end, or to co-exist just as they have. Both Realms required some intervention, something to set them both straight – but the question is who, what, why and when…..

:: Prologue – “Genocide Chapter Part 1: Extermination and Salvation” (A.G. Year 500) ::
There had been no radio chatter, no internet chatter, no sign left or right of the Armageddon Station and its followers. No Androids were spotted on any of the planets that had an Alliance with one another; it was all just quiet, too quiet for some. Others believed that the Armageddon Station had simply been destroyed by a star, or by the *Gods* themselves for the preservation of life. No *Gods* intervened in this mess; not yet – they waned to see the people and races fight for themselves first, they wanted to see the Mortal Realm handle this one way or the other. This quiet however did not last long – but after what was about to shake the Universe, those who believed in the *Gods* would be praying for many years to come. A flash of light caught the eye of a patrol fleet of ships heading past the planet Namek; and a disturbing realization had come over the pilots and crew – their patrol had turned into a rescue and recon mission. Only a few hundred Namekians on very small space ships had fled the planet as the *Light* hit their home. As the survivors were lifted onto the Alliance ships; they stared out windows and into computer screens just in time to see their home turn into a molten ball of lava – then explode after another ray of light hit it.

Armageddon Station developed a way to fire its main gun far across the reaches of the Universe – however it took a massive toll on the system. The Planet Destroyer Gun would have to spend a hundred years recharging if it were to fire at such a distance. However, firing within a few hundred thousand miles was much more practical – and would reduce the recharge to only a month or so. Regardless of that minor *inconvenience* the people aboard knew that war had been declared officially – and that they would not have time to use that weapon again in peace; so they readied an army of Androids and rigged up ships that they have collected over the years and set a course for the major bastion of all communications; Earth – for if it crumbled then those on Arconia or even on any stations in space would lose a massive bulk of their connectivity with one another. Earth was a very well protected planet at this time however; a massive shield of energy had been constructed just for this kind of occasion. In reality the Human and race of people known as the Xen’drenossi had plans to erect this barrier all over each planet and primary *moon* for each planet. They had no time now – the gears of war (GET IT?! GEARS OF WAR?!) are turning; it was time to rally everyone and everything together and fight to survive. Survival of their youth, their people, and their kind – all had to be ensured first; where as the death of their enemies had to quickly follow…..

As the patrol around Namek finally fled back to Earth – they had released the bad news and the Namekian survivors to their respective leaders and ambassadors; then began preparations to move some of the people to islands or to remote locations on their planet in an attempt to protect the civilians as much as possible, not that it would matter if that planet destroying gun were to hit Earth too. The Human leader contacted various other races around the Universe and told them to do the same – protect, preserve, then prepare for a war.....

:: Prologue – “Genocide Chapter Part 2: Preservation, Intervention, and Resurrection” (A.G. Year 590) ::
It took the Armageddon Station ninety years to come from Dark Space to within Earths solar system. When it arrived – a fleet of Human space ships immediately began to attack while one attempted to contact the main fleet back around Luna. With over a billion Androids, and make-shift space crafts; the Armageddon Station easily pushed through the fleet – though it did suffer some losses; nothing it couldn’t replace in time. That however being the key word; time, with the Human Fleet along with every single fleet in the Universe baring down on the Armageddon Station time was not what they had on their side. Fortunately they had big-ass guns though; and that in some minds would be much better than time, as long as they could hit their mark when fired. As the ships began to pour into the quadrant of space – sparks, fire, missiles, lasers, rail gun shells, all sorts of projectiles and bodies not only of space craft but of people littered the area. Pieces of Androids flew across the open field only to hit ships and shatter into more pieces; this was utter chaos. The Armageddon Station however had more than enough power to push through and head toward Earth once more – though it had sustained damage; it was still operational and if nothing else if shit hit the fan, it would be a hell of a battering ram.

The Kaioshin; realizing that the plight of the Mortals had been futile on the behalf of the side of Good – they had no hope of victory without their divine intervention, so she began preparations to head to the Mortal Realm. The Cardinal Kaio left their students in charge of the After Life while they took a mysteriously magical one-way portal to the battlefield directly. With the Kaioshins presence on the field there would sure be some chaotic decisions to be made; she had to clearly tell the leaders of each people on the side of good who she was and what they were there to do. As they poured their power into the Mortal Realm – leading a small army of Demi-God warriors as well; the Demons took this as an opportunity to invade and destroy Heaven. With millions of Demonic Knights pouring out of the gate to Hell and into the rest of the two plains – the innocent and youthful Kaio watchers were easily overwhelmed and destroyed in a matter of hours. The Demons didn’t stop their either; with the gates between each realm in pieces, and billions upon billions now littering both realms – they had more than enough to re-habilitate their old Dark Lord. Using the blood of the damned and the innocent; many Dark Magi focused on bringing the evil and hate out of a single Mayko boy who happened to be on the flag-ship for the Human race. The boy instantly fell to his feet and began to pulse with an un-godly power that not even the Demons knew he had. This power tore the ship to pieces – instantly shattering the flesh, steel, fuel, blood everything within the ship. The explosive shockwave sent every ship within the immediate area off course and some even crashed into the asteroid belt – engulfed in fire and electrical sparks.

When the Kaioshin realized what had gone on – she was too late. There had been too much chaos, and not enough power between the Kaio to stop all of this. Then it echoed in her mind…..

””Stop all of this…..For your brother, for your people…..””

There was a way to end this – though it was unknown if the cost would be worth all the suffering and loss. She went to speak to her fellow Kaio when suddenly – a burst from the Armageddon Station’s main rail-gun volley slammed through her chest – destroying her instantly upon impact. As her body and spirit began to fade – one last fail safe was to be put into play. Each of the remaining Kaio began to channel energy into the North Kaio’s famous Spirit Bomb – every last drop of energy, even from the machines and their fuel. Every single thing living and dead in both realms had been *forcefully* removed of energy – granting a Spirit Bomb so large and pure that it would wipe out all life everywhere. It would tear a gap between realms momentarily then heal itself later as its divine light engulfed and wiped out every last living creature big and small in existence…..

With the Spirit Bomb’s explosion – the Universe lit up for the first time in a light so bright that it could be seen from a place, well lets just say it’s a far away place unknown to even the Kaio (no spoilers here!). As the light washed over each planet, and each plain in the After Life; the living, the dead, everything vanished. The structure, mountains, even the clouds in the skies above each planet remained – but not the grass, not the birds, not the people…..However, with the Kaioshins final gift inside the Spirit Bomb – the explosion began to twist and contort – allowing one final pardon to the realms…..

:: Prologue – “Rebirth” (A.G. Year 600 to 1000) ::
As the years flew by, the gift that the Kaioshin had left in her wake was simple; a chance. Some may consider it a failed attempt to protect the Universe, but she did protect what once was. With no knowledge of the planet Vegeta, or Icer, she did what she could to re-grow the life on the planets that still existed in this realm. With Namek gone and the last of their race making their spiritual imprint on Earth – that is where their new birthing grounds would be – side by side with the Humans, Maykojin, and the people who created Living Dolls with Spirits Attached to them. The many people of Arconia spread out across the Universe – mainly focusing on two places, the planet Arconia and the planet of Two Faces, thus allowing their birthing grounds to reside on either planet. As for the Armageddon Station, it ceased to exist as well – blown to pieces by the blast. The creation of androids would eventually come back to pass – but not for a long time.

As the Universe and After Life realms both began to grow back to its once life-sustaining capabilities, people of all shapes and sizes would also begin to be born from the light once more. As the first generation of their various races – they would define how their planets would look, how the balance shifts, and how their stories would unfold…..

However, during the final few years before each planet and realm had been fully re-grown; a dark and light energy found its way building up in the physical realm. At the time not even the Kaio or Demon were in existence; so clearly it wasn’t even their doing. Though no one would know what or whom these powers belonged to, or even what provoked these powers to exist and or activate – their affect on the Universe would be clearly seen. In the darkest reaches of the Physical Realm – two planets began to reform under the cover of a deep red shadow. The planet of Ice and the long lost planet Vegeta had been reborn as brand new versions of their old selves. The Saiyan people would once more be the barbaric and ignorant creatures they once were; where as the “Tuffle” as they were called, would be the intelligent yet frail creatures as ever. As an insult to the grand design – the race known as the Changling would also exist once again; thus leaving room for another galactic tyrant to take charge…..

:: Prologue – “Finale” (A.G. Year 1000 to P.D. Year 0) ::

As the finale began and ended; ushering in a new era and generation in its wake, one final strange event took place which would grant Namek its rightful place back into the physical realm of existence. A light that could only be described as a Super Nova could be seen from every planet; many Solar Flares smashing into the atmospheres across the galaxy, causing world wide shortages in terms of any relative technology that they may have attained at the time. Though this would set back any space based efforts for many years (due to everyone’s technology being affected in a negative way) it would not halt the progress of each species.

No one could really fathom what exactly caused this “explosion” as some called it but its affect had been certain; the planet Namek would reappear in the night sky, a beautiful orb of green shimmering in the darkness. The planet seemed un-touched; though something ominous had been lingering in the minds of many scientists, observers, and mystics. Many of the next generation of Kaio and Demonic hierarchy would more than certainly pick up on this disturbance and in time they may solve the riddle to this; or in a more realistic sense they may bring another catastrophic end to the universe, space, and time as we know it.

Time has been the enemy for everyone and everything; cycles have existed for too many generations – some known and some unknown. This time however would be a time for many to shine on and leave their mark on the galaxy – the universe – everything; even if their mark was that of evil and vile they still would have their say in the shape of everything……

”””We shall observe in the darkness; watching closely as they progress, thrive, survive, and as they reach the pinnacle of their civilization we shall leave our mark on this generation of ignorant creatures.....Then the cycle will begin again – as we allow it…..”””
